NASA mission to investigate NLCs was created by TrevorDurity
Just saw this on the NASA site. Sending a probe to investigate the ice clouds in the mesosphere.

God but they love crazy abbreviations AIM = "Aeronomy of Ice in the Mesosphere"!

I do wonder if some of these acronyms are first thought up to resemble a recongisable word and then they decide what the mission will be...
