Thanks NASA, one to be committed to the history books like the Mars Climate Orbiter - the American team using imperial measurements (responsible for Mars entry), and the European team using metric units (for launch).

Hehe, yeah. One of our lecturers was going on about that a few weeks ago. He was supposed to be teaching us about optical fibres! :D

For the Climate Orbiter, yes. The most recent probe was only lost in November last.
