He got a mediocre review from his boss. And presumably either no pay rise or a derisory one. Sound like there may have been other factors too - he lived on his own and in recent months had been behaving 'oddly'.

That's pretty much all the details there are. Sounds like the reasons are probably psychological and deep. A real tragedy for all concerned.

That's a pretty common situation unfortunately. It happens in all over the world, even here in little old Ireland. But it seems to be only in America that it ends in gun fire! Yet another argument in favor of tighter gun control.

Before pmgisme gets at you Bart, you know that is not true! It is just the media coverage in the western world is greater that we hear of such stories. ;)
