Britain announced today

For a country (Great Britian) that has a great tradition of astronautics as well as some cutting edge research centres (e.g. the OU), successive British Governments have shown little if any interest in 'space'.
There is not even a British ESA astronaut.

I'll be in Heathrow on Sunday and I'd like my onward journey to be the one that I have a ticket for! :lol: My pockets have useless Sterling too - its got Ulster Bank printed on it - try spending that in London!
God forbid you get Northern Bank notes...

To whom?I don't think jibes of this nature towards the British (or any particular nationality) really belong on these boards. Its pretty offensive...
