Rosetta at Steins was created by JohnONeill
Hi,
The Rosetta probe fly bys asteroid 2867 Steins this evening.
This is the first probe to visit to an E-type (nothing to do with sports cars) Asteroid. Steins is a small body only a few km across.
Steins is poorly placed for observing and anyway is a faint 17th magnitude object,
John
