You can use www.calsky.com/ and set your home or any location for checking ISS and satellites for free.

Cheers John,
I know of heavens-above.com (you forgot the "-" Jouke!), but its not always dead on. Chris Peat does a great job, only that the data can be days old, and therefore a miss when you want something exact.

According to www.calsky.com/ it appears that there is another ISS transit of the moon from North Dublin on Thursday at 19:23. The centre line appears to cross the Airport, and the path width is about 17km, which means that the whole northside, and some of the southside, should see the event.

I decided to stay in work (Ballsbridge) and view the event through my binoculars - I didn't want to fight traffic trying to get to a good spot on the northside.

Anyway, at 19:23:50, the ISS sailed right past the moon! :( I was just outside the track of the transit!

I promise I won't make the same mistake in March next year in the Lybian desert!

Missed it by a good distance from Dalkey. But I expected that so I'm not upset :-)

Just completed the post-mortem - I was a kilometer away from the southern limit! Damn!
