Whats the resolution of the LRO was created by dave_lillis
Hi,
With the recent launch of the Lunar Reconnaisance Orbiter, we'll now have very high resolution images of the moon, does anyone know if it'll be able to see anything of the remnants of the Apollo landings?, maybe the multi mile long tracks left over by the rovers?

Appears to have two narrow angle cameras capable of 1/2 metre resolution. So the resolution appears to be there. I think It would be a missed opportunity if they didn't include landing sites. It appears that most of the survey will be at 1-meter scale and multispectral (seven filters from 320nm-690nm) which should allow identification of different mineral types.

Nope. They will come up with a whole new set of 'explinations'
I can't wait to see the images.
