JUNO swings by Earth this evening Oct 9th was created by DeirdreKelleghan
NASA's Juno Spacecraft swings by the Earth at 19:21 GMT this evening Oct 9th. This manouver is to enable Juno to get a big gravity assist in order for it to fling itself out to Jupiter. You can watch it in real time in the virtual world by using this NASA software

That was a lot harder to spot than I expected! Even after 11pm to when it had slowed down, but at magnitude 12 it was hard to even spot a trail in an image. If you stand back from this pic and squint a bit you might see a streak near the center :)
