During the week, I noticed that PC Pro is giving away Starrynight Backyard 3.1 with its April issue. If you don't have already have a planetarium program, this is a very good starter package for the price of a computer magazine. The DSO database is limited (Messier only I think)but Starry Night provides a superb representation of the night sky and is great fun to use.
