Webcam Software?

All,

Can I ask someone(s) to provide a list of the relevant software specific for webcam imaging, and what task each is used for?

Maybe this one for you daveg...?

I've a ToUcam, if it matters.

Hows it goin - here's what you'll need

Webcam to 1 1/4 inch adapter - you can get from Astronomy Ireland

To Acquire the videos try

Astrosnap (freeware and shareware versons) try the free one to start
IRIS (freeware)
K3CCDTOOLS (freeware and shareware again try the freeware first)

To process the videos
Registax (freeware) this is the best one.
Also but not necessary to start, something like photoshop LE to adjust colors etc

For the software just put the name of it in google

Have a look at these & when you're ready to go let me know and we'll take it from there...........
