Hi All

Came across Gimpshop today, it is being touted as gimp with a photoshop feel to it. Anybody have any experience with it. I have had gimp on the pc for ages but never used it because am used to a more "windows" feel to software.

FYI the gimp and gimpshop are opensource and free to download

Cheers
Trevor

Thats exactly what it is. The basic gimp program re-arranged to look more like photoshop.

I've the opposite problem, I know gimp and have trouble finding things in photoshop!

I'm with Al on this one. Lots of people have real issues with the Gimp becauase it does not do things in the photoshop way. I however came to the Gimp without photoshop expience so that really doesn't nother me. The Gimp is a powerful piece of software that is free, if re-arranging the skin makes it appeal to even more people, great!

I'd say that if you don't have photoshop experience you'd be better off using the Gimp propper, if you do then give Gimpshop a try.

Bart.
