Apple have finally put an end to the rumours;

And it looks very very nice....

And very cunningly, they sell this as just the box. i.e. you have to supply USB keyboard, mouse, and VGA monitor yourself. Now, I wonder what type of users would just happen to have a keyboard, monitor and mouse sitting around at home.... ?
Drool......

Apple has unveiled a new, low-cost Macintosh computer for the masses, billed as the Mac mini.
Chief executive Steve Jobs showed off the new machine at his annual MacWorld speech, in San Francisco.
The $499 Macintosh, sold for £339 in the UK, was described by Jobs as the "most important Mac" made by Apple.

Excellent!
Such a cool idea! Apple yet again come up with something truely new. There are no other personal computers out there like the miniMac!
Mind you I now have a hard decision to make, do I spend 2 grand on the 64Bit iMac I've had my eye on for a while now or do I settle for the FAR cheaper miniMac!?
As for who has keyboards and monitors lieing round, me! I go through my PCs faster than I go through my monitors!
Bart.

I dunno, a full PC, not just a dumb terminal, in that tiny box, seems cool to me! I certainly hvaen't seen anything like it before.
