NGC281 - Pacman Nebula in RGB was created by CarlightExpress
Well here's my first image with the EQ8 Pro mount
Image Details:
Object: Pacman Nebula - NGC281
Location: Casseopeia
Image Details: The Pacman Nebula (NGC281) is around 9500 Light years from earth, the nebula got its name due to the resemblance to the famous video game character.
RGB Data:
Red: 20x 600S Frames
Green: 20x600S Frames
Blue: 20x600S Frames
Total exposure time 10 hours
Imaging Scope: Astro-Tech AT8RC
Imaging Camera: ATIK 383L+ Mono CCD Cooled to -25C
Guide Camera: QHY5II
Off Axis Guider: TS 9mm OAG
Mount: Skywatcher EQ8 Pro (Steel Pier Mounted)
Image Acquisition Software: Sequence Generator Pro
Dark/Flat/BIAS frame subtraction and Stacking: Nebulosity 3
Post Processing: Adobe Photoshop CS5, Gradient Xterminator, Noise Ninja

Simon that is one fine image! With 10 hours exposure time you should be proud of it, crisp detail is captured there, I like the dark nebula set against the bright background .

Hi All
Got about another 5 hours of exposure time in, and discarded a number of my previous frames as I discovered new features in Maxim-DL with regards to "Image Measurement" and this discards frames that do not meet the specification you specify, so this image is now
25x600S in Each Filter of RGB totalling 12.5 hours, I am much much happier with this result, I have also replaced the image on Flickr
