On your Name or identity on the top right (after you sign in) you will see a drop down menu. In that menu click on 'my settings'.
Add info ....e.g.
Fill in all the personal info that you want under the various headings.
Then when it comes to any particular image, whether it is as you upload it or you are updating at a later time you can add info for that particular image e.g.
Here when adding info (the info that you already added to your personal profile) you can just press the "+" to the right to add it in the left column OR you can drag the info from the right column to the left column.
Information in the left column will be displayed with your image - for all to see.
Hope that helps.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Thanks for the help, I've got it now, I hadn't registered the equipment I use on the site. Sorted that out now, thanks again.

I only heard about AstroBin at the Galway Astrofest on the weekend.
Just go's to show I've been out of the loop for a loooong time.
Yeah, Flikr is cool but it's got it's buggy stuff.
AstroBin simply because it's for astrophotography alone seems very cool.
Obviously folders, ability to reorder your gallery and other stuff seems lacking
but it appears to be one guy doing the work on the site and he may change / add stuff if enough people want it?
Here's my stuff
