Just wondering if anyone here uses the colour DBK Imaging Source cameras?
If so, what colour settings do you use when recording?
Michael.

Hi Michael, I have one of those for over a year now.
I take it your using IC capture?
I tend to capture using uncompressed rgb24 for colour or Y800 for greyscale.

Thanks John.
Yea, I'm using IC Capture.
I took one video the other night in Y800 and noticed afterwards that it was mono, so I note your suggestion re RGB24.
In terms of the sliders to configure the colour, do you have any preset values you use to have a 'standard' colour for each imaging run?

I haven't got any handy. If you use the 'one push' button it will tend to automatically find a good white balance based on the target on screen. This only seems to work properly when the target is large on the sensor though. When the target is small it fails badly. I tend to set it manually judging by eye if I can. I'll take a note of it next time.
