I'm sure some of you noticed the almost excellent seeing we had on some nights during the past week.
I took the chance to capture a time lapse of Jupiter and its moons.
This was taken over about 70 minutes on the night of April 21.
The telescope is a C11 SCT on a cgem dx mount.
I used an ASI120mm camera and an astronomik red filter capturing 60 second movies at about 40 fps continuously.
68 captures were made in total. Each capture was stacked in AutoStakkert 2 with wavelets applied in Registax 6.
Seeing was good enough to reveal a little detail on Ganymede as well as a wealth of cloud detail on Jupiter.

Great work, amazing detail in that video!!
I happened to see the occultation of Io by Ganymede, in a C11, but needless to say the moons were just specks of light.
