Winter Star Trails New Year's Eve was created by Keith g
Hi all, it was actually clear for a few hours between 6-10pm on New Years Eve night, I managed to see the winter stars 
My aim was to capture the scene against the still lake water, this is our revolving Earth over 45 minutes before the clouds rolled in again..

Very nice Keith. 
I was in Ballyvaughan Co Clare on New Years eve and there was a break in the clouds for an hour or so. We stayed over for the New Year celebrations. I persuaded my wife to take a short walk away from the sodium lights to have a look skyward.
Beautiful Milkyway visible through Cygnus and I could easily see M31 with the naked eye without any effort. I didn't bring my camera though
