A third image I forgot ffrom the many that night

Excellent images, Garry.

Well done on getting that rare rille positioned in Vallis Alpes.
Back in March 2014, I saw 4 central peaks inside Copernicus. What was extraordinary was that at the time the centre of the crater was in darkness and the peaks were pure white. So thank you for this contribution too.

Aubrey.

Aubrey

Have added one more image as its very crisp of plato and the vallis. Seeing was not good on the mid-horizon and Jupiter images were a little blurred so I await that plant getting higher

Very impressive. Were they timed or stacked exposures or were you able to use a single exposure?

Thanks for kind words. Each was about 600 best frames of 2000 stacked in registax and wavelets applied. Each also had a degree of deconvolution but not all the same algorithm - trial & error there. Finished off in photoshop
