Hello All,

I took this last night from Cape Paterson, Victoria..
72 60 sec subs.
Processed in Pixinsight

The yellow stars in the core seem to have been washed out during processing so I'll have to play around in Pixinsight to get them back.

Michael.

Yes -I have observed Omega Centauri on 2 occasions with 10X50 binoculars.
The first time was in Zambia in 2001 when I observed my 2nd Total Solar Eclipse.
The second time was in French Polynesia on 2011 for my 6th Total Solar Eclipse.
I believe Omega Centauri is the largest globular star cluster in the sky.

Thank you producing this spectacular image, Michael.

Aubrey.
