Crescent toward Sadr

Many of you have been going after sold old Comet or other.....ha, ha.....fair play, some great pictures being published from Ireland. In conjunction with the NLC, many images are just 'Images of a Lifetime' if the truth be told.Here in Spain I did manage to get up and see it....Just before dawn, it peeps up over the maountains to the North & Northeast of me......but as yet, I have not managed to plan a trip in the car to go do an imaging session.My fixed equipment is still pointing at Cygnus and I managed to get enough data in the past week to do another Deep Sky, Hubble Palette image. Note that I mentioned Hubble Palette....just to excuse the colours here....but there is a second version (a crop section) on my web site also (via link) ..... if interested.

Very many thanks for sharing your wonderful image of this portion of Cygnus. I observed a nice star field near Sadr 5th July 2020. And while I'm aware this constellation has some very nice nebulosity, I can't get to see any of it with my scope from my location. So it is great that you show us what's there.

In addition to viewing your image here, I viewed it on your website. The detail is exquisite, it really is. I think the more bluish / greenish coloured version looks best, but that's just my taste.
