Heart Nebula

I just thought I would put this one up - even as a mono image I find it quite a interesting image to ponder on.
This is 8 hours of Ha data which will get some SII & OIII added....hopefully during the coming week.



It is not on the website just yet....but most likely I will put a mono as well as a final colour image up when I do get it finished.

What a great image Brendan. It is always nice to see a DSO that actually looks like their namesake. No mistaking this one!

Wow guys .....just been browsing through the observation reports - such fantastic detail in the narratives.

Hi Aubrey - no, I wasn't being funny - I was serious.....you guys really are having a great run. However, I did not mean I would never put up another image - just there was no need for me to put up another Heart Nebula image up here & now. I just wantedd to say the a colour Heart Nebula is now up on the web site.

There is also a nice crop in mono (on the web site) that is worth having a look at, at the highest resolution.
