Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi all
I went up tp Killiney last night to get some shots of the rising Super Blood Moon, the view was out over the Irish Sea with a good horizon. I thought the cloud was going to interfere, thankfully they stayed away. The moon was orange-red in colour and looked like it was mid eclipse. Equipment is a Canon 5D Mkii and 70-200 f/4 L lens.

Those are three stunning photos Paul... The colour of the Moon in the first two is gorgeous, and the reflection of the moonlight on the water in the third looks great. Also, is that the light from a boat, or Kish lighthouse under the Moon, and on the horizon?
Very well done!
Darren.

Thanks for the comments, guys.
That is a ship, Darren, I had to wait until it moved into position, the redness of the moon had passed by then but I thought it was worth the wait.

Thanks for that Paul,
And I think you made the right call on waiting for the ship to sail under the Moon. It looks really good.
See you later on.
Darren.
