Does anyone know of asite where you can download free software to seperate the frames of a photo?

How do you mean Matthew? Like deconstructing a photo that was stacked etc in e.g. Registax? Don't think that can be possible. Once a photo is 'compiled' its a fixed image. The data cannot be seperated backwards to get the individual frames again.

There is probably a piece of software that will simulate this, by taking a desired numbers of shots of the one picture, and dividing the light/colour/contrast/gain into what it could have been like to stack that desired number of shots into one image.

Don't know though.
