Summer Milkyway Widefield was created by Keith g
This is another shot, but more widefield, it's not bad considering it was taken with the 'bog' standard 18-55mm Canon ef-s lens that comes with the camera when you buy it. It just shows the naked eye view looking out over the sea, but the 'live' view was better! :D Sagittarius was just rising so there was plenty to see with the binoculars, loads of messier clusters and nebulae, lovely sight. We'll have this for the next few months

Canon 300D, Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens at f4.0
Exposure: Single 5 minute, ISO 800, Auto White Balance
Transparency: 8/10

I wish my "bog standard" widefields were as good as that. :)
What kind of tracking did you do, what mount ?

Another cracker, Keith. Cant wait to give this ago myself. I'm waiting on a reticle eyepiece to arrive from the states, then I can guide thru the scope:)
