Northern Cygnus Region was created by Keith g
Hello All, Another shot for you, It's one of Northern Cygnus that I took 3 weeks ago from my dark site back at home again. I just only got around to tidying it up today. I think it came out well, I've tried as little processing as possible, just slight adjustment to levels in photoshop, and I put it through a great little **FREE** program called Hotpixels that came with the CD included in the BBC's sky at night magazine, i thin it looks more like a film image
You can easily see the North America nebula plus the Pelican nebula to it's lower right near Deneb - top centre, and all that neblosity around the Gamma Cygni region, the left one looks like a butterfly
Details:
Date: 8 May 2005
Location: Annestown, Co.Waterford
Exposure: Single Exposure , 5mins, Canon EF 50mm f1.8 lens at f2.8
ISO 1600, RAW Mode
Hope you like it

Brought out the NA nebula more so than my recent shot. Very nice.
You raised the bar and you know what that means.
I'm going to have to go outside and take a better shot.
