Here's the best of the two. My purpose is to try and learn the craters etc. by imagng them. But I just can't for the life of me put it to the moon atlas, so i'm not learning much. The image was really swimming in and out of focus constantly.

You imaged perhaps the UGLIEST crater on the moon, namely JANNSEN. It has a very neat but difficult to image rille as well as a complex rim. Please see my high-res shot at www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Crater-Janssen.htm ...
