Solar Transit by ISS+STS-114 finally imaged was created by ayiomamitis
Dear Friends,

It may have taken me four years but I finally managed to capture the transitting ISS against the solar disk. Today's catch was even more special since the shuttle Discovery (STS-114) was already docked to the station.

Please enjoy: www.perseus.gr/Astro-Sat-Trans-2005-07-28.htm .

Anthony.

Yet another amazing shot!

The space station looks rather deformed with the shuttle stuck to it!

Well done Anthony. Also just spotted the pic on spaceweather.com...The first of many I'd say.

Cheers
