Bill - I managed to squeeze as much out of this as I could.

The images have three major issues:

1. Field rotation - though Registax can do a reasonable job of fixing this if you use the 'rotate' option when you stack
2. The 'flare' at the top of the images makes it difficult to process evenly
3. A gradient, top left to bottom right - fixed in Photoshop. Could be related to 2

Its not a pretty picture - but you're well on the way. I suspect that you many of your previos images would actually be similar to this one. The processing part of it is by far the trickiest but you CAN squeeze a lot of detail from an image that you can't see at first glance. Welcome to the world of astrophotography.... :D

By the way, you may want to save the image and take a peek on your own screen. Uploaded files always seem a little darker to me in Explorer....

Cheers

Dave

Of course it's a pretty picture Dave, it's mine, also it's got more flair, sorry, flare than Kylie
Thanks Dave, Both of you Daves may well make me lazy here, I will take the images and send them to you both for processing, that's what I call Auto-processing
Cheers,
Bill.
