Darren,

Images Plus

Its the real deal with pretty much everything an astrophotographer could wish for. A little pricey but great value for money. Its what all the guys who are doing decent stuff with digital slrs use.

Helps with focus and gathering the images from a Digital SLR. You have a 350D right?

and of course the venerable photoshop or paint shop pro or the gimp if you fancy a freebie!!

Darren,

MaximDL is also worth a look, has good intergration for automated observing and is about to issue a DSLR module as well.

CCDSoft I have not used but seems popular.

Later,

Jed.
