Heres an image I took of M15.
Conditions were not too bad, transparancy 7-10, 64% Moon in the sky, so I decided a bright globular was in order.

For those with broadband heres a higher res tif file (looks a lot better than jpgs)

thats a great image Dave.
thats a nice little tight cluster.

Am I right in saying that that is the result of 18 stacked images anyway??
16 medium exposures and 2 longer ??
the core looks a little unusual, is due to the stacking ?

Yes dave 18 images in total. I dont know about the core, I guess that just the way M15 is :? a bit more condensed at the core than say M13.

This is a lovely globular to see through any decent scope, you've made this look very well Dave, very natural looking which is the number one rule in my book. I think there's a 3D appearance about it.

I like it!
