Folks - I'm struggling a bit with processing my Mars images. Is there a good one pager out there describing how to use Registax to glean the most from a bunch of mages?
Here's my best attempt:
Object - Mars
Exposure - 0.02 sec
Image no. - 550
Imager - DSI
Filters - None
Mount - AP1200
Scope - C8 SCT & 2.5 Televue PowerMate
Software - Registax, Photoshop 7

I've never seen a document that was anywhere near as helpful as Dave Gradwell giving a tutorial. Perhaps you should try and get him to give a talk to KAS

Dave in another thread I mentioned that Dave Gradwell will be giving a workshop on 23rd Oct in astronomy ireland's offices. You'd be most welcome of course.
Anyway thats not a bad image at all.

Since your all talking about me:) I'd be only too happy to give a webcam talk to KAS. Sorry not too familliar with the DSI but I would say that the only real problem you have there is image size - does the DSI bin? is there a hi res mode? Do you have any specific Qs??
Dave Gradwell
PS
remember that mars is still only 20" across so detail is hard to come by.

I went to Daves talk on registax in SDAS a good few months back, I'd imagine most KAS members would find it very interested.
