Hi All,
Seems like alot of us were looking at Mars last night, my thermometer read the temperature at 2.8 degrees, so the winter is really on the way.
Anyway, I felt it was time to try and get an image of it despite the seeing been terrible.

This was taken with a 12" SCT + unmodified toucam pro, 400 frames were stacked in registax, early morning hours Oct 14th.
I must convert over to using RAW mode in the not too distant future.

Nice image Dave. The colour balance seems good and you've good image detail too, regardless of the seeing.
Did you use a Barlow?
Cheers

thanks lads,
Dave, I was going to use a barlow, but the turbulance was just too bad, it wasnt revealing any more detail, it just made everything fuzzier.
Hopefully we'll get a few more clear nights soon.
