astro photo from this year's wsp was created by stepryan
ladies and gents,
just as an expirement while i was at this years WSP, i thought i try to take one astrophoto, so i thought i'd have a go at capturing the 72 inch. i did not have a tripod handy so i had to put my camera on my bag on the ground and then take the picture. i used a cars red lights that was coming into the ground to focus the camera. it is a 122 second exposure with my 300d with the standard lens. i played with the colours in the photo as there was a good bit of light pollution in the original.
