Reprocessed Milkyway was created by Keith g
Ah alas the summer nights are well and truly gone , so since the weather is rubbish, I've decided to redo an old post if you don't mind, on a shot I took some months ago. All I've done is applied a bit that I've learned about photoshop to adjust white balance in this shot, mainly to get rid of the light pollution gradient??
Anyway, Summer Milkyway, as best as I can get it to naked eye (ok the milkyway is a bit brighter since it's a 10 minute exposure), just to remind ourselves of those warm summer nights
Details: Canon EOS 300D DIGITAL, ISO 800, 10min single exposure, F4, 18mm kit lens

coruscations attending the whole length of the luminosity, giving to the phenomena the aspect of a wrathful messenger, and not that of a tranquil body pursuing a harmless course..comet of 1680

Keith - inspiring - especially now, as the nights spent observing include the mandatory thermals...
Lovely image - and I couldn't have put it better than Dave G.
