Double cluster was created by Jed Glover
Hi all,
I had the chance last night to get first light on my new williams optics 80mm.
Due to technical difficulties with the main scope (new adapter rail screws preventing c-11 getting focus!) I had to do some unguided shots.
Here is the first one;

M45 to follow.
Later,
Jed.

Hi Jed - that's a nice image. Can I throw these at you?
Is the image cropped? If not, that's a nice (semi?) apo. I always fancied a Williams.
How did you combine the bias and dark frames? Median, average? I saw that many answers to that question that I gave up...
I just spotted your M45 too - nice. I like the 'nebulosity' that you captured. Is it officially nebulosity or something else? - I forget...
Thanks for posting them anyhow - and I hope you get more dark skies and you get the C11 up and running.
Cheers
