Was just reviewing some photos that I took a while back, when I spotted some little fuzzy patch in a couple of them. I wasn't in my normal location, so I'd be guessing that they were taken looking north-westerly at about 22:15 on the 20th of November, here , and here .

Whilst being harrassed by a couple of horses earlier on in the night, I got this nice capture :)

The Fuzzy in both objects is obviously the same as it is the same shape and size etc. I can't work out a star field i nteh second one but I can in the first and the one in the first is DEFINITELY Andromeda.

As for the last pic, I think that has to be the most "unique" bit of Astro-photography I've ever seen, it's just cool!

Bart.

I took the liberty of adding in the bit of Andromeda I recognised:

You must have been pointing South West for sure - as the lads say, its definately the Andromeda Galaxy. I was tormented trying to match those stars to the North....!

That said, at that time Andromeda was high in the South and polaris would be just behind you.

Glad you like the setup :D

Cheers

Dave
