We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time. . . .

I dont Know if you can zoom in on the photo but the line of stars is right under the big red arrow! Oh there are 2 satellites there aswell!(30 sec exposure, sony cybershot)

To me, the line of stars is a plane. A plane doesn't come up as a constant light across the sky light you would get with a satellite. Your two satellites look like just ordinary stars - the camera has quite clearly jumped during the exposure, look at the pier.

Though the lights look very far spread out and is there not more than one light that flashes?

If you look at it full size, you can see there is more than one flashing light. It looks to be fairly high up as well for it to have only moved that far in 30 seconds so you might not see the lights too well - my 2 cents!
Here is one of my own.
