Eirik, I can see where you're going the with the sword of orion.
A pity about all that stray light, maybe put a black cloth over the camera before you make the image to block it out.
In terms of focus, maybe focus the camera on the moon and leave it as is, then point to the target without changing the setup, and the camera shoudl remain focused, I wouldn't rely on autofocusing if possible.

the light is from the blitz (flash?) not sure what its called in english.
Ive though of putting something over since there is alot of light that could be reflected on to the eyepiece. I even hold my beath or take some steps away from the camera and eyepiece just to not get fog on it hehe
But that shoot was the only of maybe 20 that focused. The camera have no other option then autofocus . But i will try saturn another day, that should be bright enough so the camera can focus
Dont what to invest so much money now on new camera or DSI/PLI. Tonight i also viewed the moon, but with the 12mm+3xbarlow, i got it crystal clear Should have had my camera on then.

That's a nice sharp image Erikg. Brings back memories of when I started taking photos though my 4.5" reflector and nikon coolpix 775 camera a couple of years ago.
