Super images!
However, what makes the images here is the photographers eye rather than anything else. Great imagination put into those images. Alot of use could take images like that if we had the creativity/imagination to do so. Some astrophotographers spend 20k+ to take fab images whilst others can take images of equal beauty with the most basic of equipment.
I've often wondering, is there any book out there which examines the imagination and creativity of astrophotography?

Dunno about a book, but when I think about a shot, Itry to find a place with a suitable or unique foreground first, it certainly adds to the shot, but I find it's not that easy :(

Most places now have light pollution of some sort or are just plain inaccessible - still it pays to keep trying....

Hate to rain on anyone's parade but the moon shot over the lake...why isn't the moon reflected in the lake along with the trees? My guess is it's a composite photo.
Some of the others are probably the same. "Orion a la Pleine Lune"...stars on the hillside too. :)

However, they are all nice to look at. But don't expect to just be in the right place to take pics like these. You need to be in the right places!

My 2 cent worth!

Don

I really must think of something interesting to use as a tag line!
