If I remember rightly, the 4.5 inch is a reflector, I'd bet you're using that diagonal with it, these do not work on newtonian reflectors for the most part.

It focuses perfectly on the skylux with the diagonal but on the 4.5" I cant focus! The focusing barrel is in as far as it can go!is it to do with tehfocal ratio of the scope? Its an f8! 910mm focal length and114mm lens!

Oh no im not using a diagonal with the reflector! Im a novice but not that muvh of a novice!
