Dsi is here - a question ?? was created by StephenK
Im about to install the autostar suite to a friends laptop. When I get my own in a few weeks, will there be any problem installing it on my own machine then, or can it only be installed once.
I dont want to put it on his laptop, and then find Im prevented from putting it on mine cos of some licence agreement or something. just thought I would check with some of you guys on here.. thanks.

Nah - you'll be fine. I have autostar on both my laptop and PC.

Same here.
FWIW, the dsi is a great camera. I recently attached it to my 18-55mm lens. I can now image a FOV wider than the belt of Orion and can go down to magnitude 9 in a 15 sec exposure. Not bad at all for an uncooled ccd camera.

Good luck Stephen - let us know how you get on and if you need any help.
By the way, check the Meade Website for updates to the software.
