Saturn through light high cloud was created by dave_lillis
Hi, I finally got a semi-decent clear night here, some high level cloud, but I'm smiling all the same. :)
I got another image of Saturn, notice how the shadow of the globe on the rings has changed and is now on the lower left hand side of the rings.

I'm doing some very quick processing here, so that I'm not up all night. I'll put up a more processed image tomorrow if I can squeeze more detail out of the AVIs.
The belts dont look as I would have expected, they almost seem to resemble what you might see on jupiter in terms of their wispiness?!?

Equip = 3x barlow, toucam +12" SCT, 1500 frames in registax.

well,
I went back and did a bit more processing on the image, its never a good idea to do processing at 2 in the morning,

the belts look as expected and pretty much as I see them through the scope.

thanks guys, and for a bit of fun, lets rotate it. :P
again these are uncropped images from a toucam.

The second image is abit more sharpened, the limitations of the cheapo 3x barlow are starting to become more evident, maybe its time to get a decent one, anyone here have a televue 3x or 4x barlow, if you do, what do you think of it??

Glorious images Dave. One question, do you use the TouCam at full resulution or 320x240. I find that 640x480 only gives me very noisy images and get better results (better for my standars that is) with the lower resolution and then use 2x resampling in registax. However I cannot reach a decent image size (with just a 1300mm focal length plus a 2x barlow)
My best effort from the other night is
