Pleiades and Mars - for what it's worth..

Here's a shot I took of the pleiades and mars on monday night last, february 20th, I was'nt going to post this for 2 reasons - mars is past it's best, and it was windy when i took this shot, you can see by the stars being elongated.

But it does show some neblosity in the pleiades so here goes...
Canon 300D, Canon ef 85mm f1.8 lems at f4.5, ISO 800, 5 minute exposure.
I had more exposures, but were trailed even more badly due to the wind, so this one is on it's own...

It's a real pitty about the wind, that is a great shot even with the stretched stars, imagine how great it would have been without the wind!
