Last Night's Moon...different exposures was created by michaeloconnell
Last night, I took a series of images of the Moon of widely varying exposure times. The idea was to try and create a blended shot so as to have a detailed illuminated cresent superimposed on the earthshine. However, Photoshop didn't exactly co-operate in the way I would have liked.
However, below are two shots with my Canon 300d at ISO 100 and 4" f/10 Mak. The one on the left is a 10sec exposure while the one on the right is a 1/20sec shot.

Ah its working now! Lovely images! the first one shows the 'dark' part nicely!
