Neill - that's nice shot. A tad out of focus to the right but nice all the same. You should enter that into the March competition.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the comments. I can do better, it was a handheld shot, hard to do. Its nowhere near good enough for the competition in my view, if I get a chance later in the moon - will take a pic with the webcam, always get nice detail, could enter it if I think its good enough.

Its a good start Neil, I also started out in lunar photography by holding the camera up to the eyepiece, then I cought the accessories bug when I got the orion steady-pix, then t-adapters and rings and then decided I needed a better camera and the list goes on, a self perpetuating escallation in spending money :lol:
