Possible contender for guidedog users. was created by Jed Glover
Hi all,
I found this on one of the Yahoo groups I frequent, may be of interest to current guidedog users wishing for a little more control over the guiding.

Thanks for posting that Jed. Really nice find!! I had a good look at this and it looks very interesting indeed. I works very much like guidedog with some really nice refinements. Firstly it resembles the ST4 model, so it does auto calibration, dark frame subtraction etc. This will make guiding a lot easier and probably more precise too. For example, the orientation of the camera is no longer critical, this software figures out which way the camera is oriented. Also it automatically measures your guiderate and backlash and then guides as appropriate.
I cant wait to give this a spin on the next clear night.
