Lovely shots Michael - those prominences are superb. And the sequence really brings life to the event.
Seanie - I was wondering where the heck those spikes came from. No idea I'm afraid. But Fiona wants a diamond ring that shines like that

Some great images there lads, seeing it in h-alpha was really interesting, you were able to see first contact before us white light folk and after we lost it at 4th contact, was it about ten seconds or so?
