Eclipse Vid

Hi guys

The link below is to an mpeg of about 40seconds of video of totality and diamond ring..it is a large file at 12.MB so I guess you need broadband or a lot of patience..right click to download and save

Anybody know how to compress video to reduce size..

That is the best yet Trevor, you can hear the excitment in the peoples voices as the bailey's bead was forming. It makes up a small bit for missing it

if you got windows XP, you should have Windows Movie maker, though movie maker doesnt like mpg, so if the orginal is avi, no problem. You could still try if original is mpg, i just havent worked it out yet.

There are ofcource many other encoders, like divx, xvid..

Both pay but with a trial software. xvid i think is opensource and free

You just cant beat video/audio, I have video here of the eclipse also,
and the reactions/atmosphere of the people around is just as interesting as the eclipse itself,
gives it that WOW factor. :shock:

cant wait to see this, I'm off broadband for about two weeks while I change ISP, dialup sucks:(
