Seanie,
I had some free time today and decided to revisit my earlier ethereal coronal image. If you are happy with the new effort, available at www.perseus.gr/Astro-Eclipses-2006-03-29c.htm , I would be happy to send it in.

Seanie,
I'd like to submit the below for cosmos.
www.irishastronomy.org/user_resources/fi...na2_proc_b_small.jpg
Its was made using 4 images stacked in registax, the 4 images were only a few seconds apart so as to prevent bluring, the camera setup was iso100 and 1/10th of a second, the canon 300D was located at the prime focus of a 4" F/5 celestron refractor on a skylux mount. Processing was done in photoshop, I tried the photoshop HDR function but could not get a natural looking corona from it. It is so easy to over process the corona to get more detail out of it, but then it becomes unrealistic.
I just dont have a printer that can do this image justice, if you need a higher res version just pm me.
