Martin Mc Kenna
coruscations attending the whole length of the luminosity, giving to the phenomena the aspect of a wrathful messenger, and not that of a tranquil body pursuing a harmless course..comet of 1680

Thats a nice sequence Neill, can I ask why you made them all in black&white, or at least they look that way to me.

Hi Dave,
I put a black and white filter on them all expect the corona shots which are untouched. I was handholding a digital camera to a eyepiece so sometimes I would get glare on the edges, taking pics like that don't always come out perfect. I used the black and white to reduce glare etc, but my solar filter is the screw on especially for the ETX 70 and is a white light filter anyway, so the solar disc is always white.

Great stuff Neil! Even just looking at the sequence of thumbnails on the left side is nice - should almost do a Print Screen of that!
